SOUTH EASTERN PENNSYLVANIA CHAPTER
OF THE PIANO TECHNICIANS GUILD
Welcome
The Piano Technicians Guild (PTG) - SEPA Chapter is a trade association of piano service professionals; primarily from the Philadelphia Metro area which includes Southeastern Pennsylvania, Central and Southern New Jersey.
Our goal is to promote the highest possible standards of piano service by providing members with opportunities for professional development and recognizing technical competence through examinations. The title of Registered Piano Technician (RPT) must be earned by passing a series of rigorous examinations.
Piano Technicians Guild Code of Ethics
1. I will act honorably and in a professional manner.
2. I will render the best possible service under the circumstances, always keeping the best interest of my client in mind.
3. I will uphold the principles of honesty and integrity for which the PTG stands.
4. I will use the name and trademarks of the PTG properly and I will encourage others to do the same.
5. I will strive to upgrade my professional skills and I will encourage and help others to do the same.
6. I will promote, in any way that I can, good will toward my profession and toward the music industry.
7. I will engage only in business practices that are in accord with antitrust guidelines as set forth by the PTG.
